Caberoy is one of the recipients of CSC Pagasa Award (Individual Category) through her initiative of using an Electronic Inventory System that provides a comprehensive medicines inventory that comes in and out of PHO warehouse, thereby making the provincial government of Capiz the first in Region 6 to adopt such system.
The “good practices” of the province presented to the CSC for validation were:
- Drug Management Program – quality and affordable medicines
- Health Facility Services Enhancement Program – increasing the health facilities in rural health units
- Maternal and Child Care Program – Newborn Screening, Garantisadong Pambata, and
- Surveillance Disease Monitoring via the Capiz Epidemiological Surveillance and Response Unit (CESRU).
Both the PHO team and Caberoy will receive a gilded medallion, a plaque and P100,000 cash in the awarding ceremony on September 19 at the Rizal Ceremonial Hall of Malacañang.
The event highlights the Civil Service Commission’s 112th anniversary.
